Pocketful Dark Factory is a fully autonomous, five-seat software engineering factory operating inside Band Desktop for the WeAreDevelopers Hackathon (Pocketful Track). Without human code intervention, the factory autonomously planned, implemented, tested, and delivered a production-ready wallet and settlement service across all four stages of the specification. The Factory Architecture and Seats: The factory deploys five specialized seats running under generic mandates: - Architect (Planner): Analyzes requirements, defines data schemas, and sets stage gates. - Backend (Builder): Implements in-memory state, ledger transactions, and API endpoints. - Frontend (UI Engineer): Builds responsive browser interfaces and attaches test selectors. - Auditor (Verifier): Executes automated test suites and strictly gates stage progression. - Integrator (Fixer): Diagnoses test assertions, applies pinpoint fixes, and triggers re-audits. Verified Results and Perfect Conformance: Our submission achieves the highest possible official conformance score of 193 out of 193 passing tests with highest contiguous stage equal to 4: - Stage 1 (147/147): Payments, requests, splits, settlements, and idempotency. - Stage 2 (35/35): Browser wallet UI, authorization holds, and double-submit safety. - Stage 3 (6/6): Historical statements, balance snapshots, and payment corrections. - Stage 4 (5/5): Receiver refunds, batch corrections, and atomic updates. Core Engineering Highlights: - Zero Human Commits: Every line of stage code was authored, verified, and committed by the Band agents. - Strict Stage Partitioning: Each stage folder (stage-1 to stage-4) is strictly isolated with its own Dockerfile and dependencies, eliminating test overshoot. - Full Reproducibility: Includes the authentic, unedited room.json session log validating all seat interactions and handoffs.
