Demi is for developers that are working in repos they are unfamiliar with and also developers working in repos they are familiar with. Demi allows developers assign agents to help them view and explain codebases that is unfamiliar to them, agents can go through important points of a codebase and point out what is related to the developer in order to make their onboarding faster. As a developer gets more accustomed to a repo(or codebase), and the scope of their work grows, so does the issues associated with that repo, in a smaller repo, issues can be up to 10 at a time (these could be 10 major issues that the developer would have to look at), while these issues could easily skyrocket to 100s or even 1000s in a large codebase (I was once an open source contributor for tenstorrent, the issue counts are enormous), demi comes in here, for issues assigned to you, demi goes through that issue, checks the codebase for the parts you have to edit, and if you let it, demi will edit it for you, with appropriate permissions. This means demi can significantly reduce the load that developers carry when going through issues, on top of that demi is meant to have the extra capability to check if the code written has any errors(at the time of writing this is not the case, but will be added before the hackathon ends). Demi can also help users add new features. By simply prompting demi and giving it access to your codebase, demi can look at your codebase, follow design patterns and submit a PR that adds the feature the user wants. This reduces friction between the user and their codebase and product, that way users can easily and on the fly make changes and add new features without needing to worry much about the time it would consume to do such. Demi is a webapp platform that will feature a chat box for the user. It will also at the sidebar feature: 1. Sessions page for users to see their sessions (these are past chats). 2. Agents page for users to use specific agents and connected tools with their repo to add extra capabilities 3. Review page for users to see their PRs, issues, and drafts created by demi 4. Chat or Home page where users can see and prompt demi to perform specific tasks for them
