Chief of Staff is a phone-first sales operations assistant for solo founders managing B2B pipelines. It prevents deals from going cold by monitoring prospect activity, reconstructing context, and preparing grounded follow-ups while keeping business decisions under human control. The platform flags deals with no contact for over three days and prepares follow-ups using verified CRM facts. Its deterministic Python policy engine enforces 15 safety checks covering discount limits, INR-only currency, sensitive data detection, contact opt-outs, and pricing validation. Every proposed email, WhatsApp message, or calendar invitation is secured by a SHA-256 approval lock. Modified content or stale proposals trigger an HTTP 409 Conflict response. The conversational AI assistant supports voice dictation, function calling, deal inspection, and calendar availability checks. Write tools only prepare actions for explicit human approval. An emergency kill switch halts drafting and outbound communication (HTTP 423 Locked), while sandbox mode redirects messages to verified test recipients. A FastMCP server over stdio enables Claude Desktop to inspect deals and prepare actions without bypassing approval safeguards. **Tech Stack:** Python 3.12, FastAPI, Pydantic v2, PostgreSQL 16, SQLite, psycopg 3, Fernet encryption, React 18, TypeScript, Vite, CSS, and PWA. AI Integrations: BYOK gateway supporting Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, and custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints, with token tracking. External Integrations: Gmail API, Google Calendar API with free/busy checks, Twilio, Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, and SMTP. Chief of Staff combines AI-assisted sales operations, deterministic policy enforcement, cryptographic approval verification, and human-controlled execution to prevent missed follow-ups, unauthorized commitments, data leaks, and scheduling conflicts.
