Code review is one of the most time-consuming and inconsistent parts of the software development lifecycle. Manual reviews often miss critical security vulnerabilities, take hours on large pull requests, and vary in quality depending on the reviewer's expertise and availability. The Intelligent Code Review & Quality Coach solves this by combining static code analysis with IBM watsonx.ai (Granite 13B Instruct) to deliver instant, consistent, and actionable code reviews. Developers paste code or upload a file, and within seconds receive a full risk assessment covering security (SQL injection, XSS, hardcoded secrets, insecure deserialization), code quality (empty catch blocks, console statements, loose equality), and performance (nested loops, async anti-patterns). Beyond listing issues, the tool uses watsonx.ai to re-prioritize findings by actual exploitability, explain each risk in plain English, generate before/after fix recommendations with code examples, and write a professional pull request summary with a clear merge recommendation (Approve / Changes Required / Block). A built-in Diff Analyzer lets teams paste a git diff to review only changed lines — exactly like a real PR review. A GitHub Webhook integration automatically triggers reviews on every pull request and posts the AI-generated summary as a comment. The result is up to 70% faster code reviews, dramatically improved consistency, and security issues caught before they reach production — all without leaving the developer workflow.
