I'm a BS Artificial Intelligence student at Iqra University, passionate about building practical AI products that solve real problems. As AC Head at AICIS, I lead technical competitions, mentor teams, and design problem statements for our society's events. I like working across the full stack, from AI/prompt engineering to backend integrations. I'm always looking for the next interesting problem to build a solution for. Currently exploring hackathons and digital products alongside my studies.

People sign up for multiple subscriptions and free trials — streaming, SaaS tools, apps — and often forget about them. Free trials silently convert into paid charges, renewals go unnoticed, and manually tracking every billing date is tedious enough that most people simply give up. This leads to real, ongoing wasted spend, especially for students and budget-conscious users juggling many small recurring costs. SubGuard AI solves this with zero manual entry. Users connect their Gmail account once through secure, read-only Google OAuth. The app then automatically scans for subscription-related emails, using an AI extraction agent to pull out service name, price, billing cycle, and renewal or trial-end dates — no forms, no typing. Beyond detection, SubGuard AI adds real intelligence: an AI-powered usage-value score estimates how actively each subscription is actually being used, an overlap detection engine flags redundant subscriptions serving the same purpose (like two video streaming services), and a recommendation agent generates ranked, explainable suggestions on what to cancel and how much it will save — monthly and yearly. Urgency-ranked renewal and trial-ending alerts (7/3/1-day tiers) keep users ahead of upcoming charges, and a one-click cancellation assist takes users directly to each service's own cancellation page. Built on native.builder with Supabase (Auth, Postgres, Edge Functions) and OpenRouter (Gemini 2.0 Flash) for AI, SubGuard AI is a fully working, deployed application — not a mockup — with every core feature functioning end-to-end on real Gmail data.
