Software development teams frequently struggle with disjointed tools, manual sprint planning, and administrative bottlenecks. Traditional project management platforms fail to accurately map tasks to actual developer expertise, leading to misaligned sprints, blind spots in team performance, and wasted time tracking progress across disconnected repositories. To solve this, Scrum-Up is a centralized, AI-driven project management platform built around the Scrum framework that unifies planning, tracking, and review. Designed for project heads and developers, our target users easily interact with the platform through a streamlined workflow. Project heads manage team rosters, create projects, review AI-generated sprint plans, and oversee high-level metrics, while developers sign in via GitHub, view personalized dashboards with active tasks, collaborate on a live Kanban board, and sync code repositories. The user journey begins with seamless GitHub authentication, landing users on a personalized dashboard displaying active projects and tasks. From there, administrators can quickly create new projects and leverage our AI sprint planner, which analyzes GitHub repository data and commit frequency to map developer skill profiles and generate optimized sprint plans automatically. Inside sample projects, users get a comprehensive view of sprints, burndown and velocity charts, and live commit updates where every commit provides an immediate update. On the operational side, developers use a real-time Kanban board to drag tasks fluidly through To Do, In Progress, and Done. At sprint's end, built-in Review tabs highlight completion rates and GitHub highlights, while dedicated Retro boards capture what went well, what could improve, and action items alongside clean AI summaries. Centralized team rosters linked to GitHub profiles and an Inbox for managing project invitations round out the experience. Scrum-Up is creative and unique because it bridges the gap between raw code contribution history and agile management. By deeply integrating GitHub activity into AI sprint generation and skill profiling, it eliminates manual guesswork and creates a self-optimizing ecosystem that makes software development truly data-driven, efficient, and frictionless.
