Disruption across the Middle East and North Africa, from Strait of Hormuz security advisories to Red Sea shipping lane restrictions, has put global cold chain trade under systemic stress. Refrigerated cargo cannot wait. Every hour of uncertainty risks a cold chain breach, spoiled product, and a contractual crisis spanning carriers, insurers, and buyers across three continents. Most organizations respond after disruption has locked them in. The vessel is committed, ports are congested, and the window for cost effective diversion has closed. Orbitra Reroute shifts that moment from reactive scramble to proactive contingency. It flags risk early and has an executable plan ready when a carrier advisory lands. Orbitra Reroute is an AI agent that monitors a shipping operations inbox around the clock. When a disruption notice arrives, in any language, it extracts shipment details with an Evolus Data Extractor. It scores blockage probability with a hybrid pipeline: live news sentiment from the Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone (GDELT), International Monetary Fund (IMF) PortWatch vessel traffic data, and a machine learning classifier trained on historical chokepoint events. A route risk agent running Gemma on AMD Token Factory then produces a structured assessment: severity, recommended diversion port, cold chain implications, and cost forecasts under optimistic, expected, and conservative scenarios. Within minutes, Trade Operations receives a drafted diversion notice, a provider workbook, a cost model, and a 3D spatial briefing of the recommended port powered by World Labs. Nothing sends automatically. Every outbound message waits in a human approval queue. The team approves or rejects each draft in the interface or by replying APPROVE to the notification email. The result: hours of coordination compressed into minutes. Risk identified, plan drafted, team aligned, and providers contacted, all before the vessel passes the point of no return.
