Problem: Traditional project management tools like Jira or Trello suffer from severe "board drift" and manual friction. Developers frequently forget to update card statuses, project managers waste countless hours in status meetings, and closed tasks often lack tangible proof of completion. Furthermore, inactive pull requests and untracked scope creep silently derail sprint timelines. Solution: Bob Task Management is an intelligent, developer-first Kanban platform that automatically creates, transitions, and audits task cards directly from GitHub events, backed by verifiable Git evidence and proactive sprint health alarms. Target Users: Software engineering teams, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and Project Managers across startups and enterprise organizations managing multi-repository architectures. How Users Interact: 1. Automated Git Workflow: When a developer opens a Pull Request on GitHub, Bob Task Management instantly synthesizes a card into "In Progress" with title, description, code diff LOC, and assignee metadata. When the PR is merged, the card automatically transitions to "Done". 2. AI Chat Assistant: Project managers can type conversational instructions (e.g., "create card: refactor auth module, assign to Alex, priority high, deadline Friday") to generate structured cards instantly via IBM watsonx.ai. 3. Multi-Repo Board & Alarms: Teams can monitor multiple microservices in one unified board, filter by repository, and receive automated warnings for Stale PRs (inactive >2 days) and Scope Creep (diff size >3x initial estimate). What Makes It Creative & Unique: - Verifiable Git Proof: Every card embeds direct, clickable evidence badges (PRs, commits, and author avatars), establishing a tamper-proof audit trail. - Multi-Tier Resilient AI Engine: Employs IBM watsonx.ai as Tier 1, with seamless fallback to open LLMs and a deterministic offline parser, ensuring 100% uptime. - Real-Time Multi-Repo Sync: Supports organization-level and multi-repository webhooks out of the box. Impact & Efficiency: Bob Task Management eliminates 100% of manual board maintenance, bridges the communication gap between engineers and management, and provides stakeholders with transparent, verifiable development progress in real time.
