Many has been developing software products. But are these products worth to pay and use for? We find that out through Sink or Ship! Building software has never been easier. Proving that what you built is actually ready to ship is still hard. Sink or Ship is an interactive product defense simulator designed for developers, hackathon teams, student builders, indie makers, and early-stage product teams who want to pressure-test their software before presenting or releasing it. Instead of simply asking an AI to review a project, Sink or Ship puts the developer in front of a panel. Users upload their project files or ZIP archive, and the submitted context is analyzed and distributed to four specialized AI judges: • Product Judge — challenges the problem, target users, usefulness, and value of the product. • Technical Architect — examines implementation decisions, architecture, scalability, and technical tradeoffs. • Security Reviewer — looks for security concerns, risky assumptions, and weaknesses in the implementation. • Critical Judge — questions unsupported claims, overlooked limitations, and anything that may not hold up under scrutiny. The important difference is that the judges are not working from a generic prompt. They are given context from the actual project being defended. If a developer claims that a feature exists, a judge can question how it was implemented. If the architecture contains a questionable decision, the Technical Architect can challenge it. If the developer makes a claim that cannot be supported by the submitted project, the panel can push back. The developer then has to defend the product in real time. Each answer can lead to follow-up questions, turning the experience into an active defense rather than a static checklist or one-time AI review. Sink or Ship is also designed to feel like a simulation rather than another plain chatbot. The judges have distinct personalities, visual states, and interactions, including moments where the panel appears to deliberate after the developer responds. The platform also includes hidden achievements that reward strong defenses, successful responses, and outcomes such as earning unanimous approval from the panel. The goal of Sink or Ship is not to decide whether a startup will succeed or whether people will definitely pay for a product. Real users and real markets determine that. Instead, Sink or Ship helps answer an earlier and equally important question: Can your product survive serious scrutiny before you put it in front of them? By combining project analysis, specialized AI reviewers, interactive questioning, product defense, and game-like progression, Sink or Ship turns pre-launch evaluation into something developers can actively practice instead of discovering their weaknesses during the real presentation. Build it. Defend it. Ship it. Or sink trying.
