PaisaBuddy is a personal finance companion built for students and young earners who need to stretch a limited monthly balance. After a quick sign-up, the app pulls your current balance and spending pattern to calculate your daily "burn rate" — how much you're spending per day on average — and forecasts exactly which date you'll hit zero if nothing changes. What makes PaisaBuddy different is its AI-powered Insights engine, which analyzes your spending and delivers plain-language nudges like "At your current pace of ₹210/day, you'll hit zero by 18 August — before the month ends." Instead of just showing numbers, it goes further with a "What if you..." simulator that shows the real impact of small behavior changes — for example, cutting eating out saves ₹32/day and stretches your money by 10 extra days, while cutting entertainment adds 9 more days. Beyond forecasting, PaisaBuddy includes a Goals feature so users can set savings targets with a name, target amount, amount already saved, and an optional deadline, turning abstract saving into a trackable milestone. The whole experience is wrapped in a clean, friendly interface designed to feel like a supportive "money buddy" rather than a cold spreadsheet — making budgeting approachable for people who've never tracked their finances before. Our goal with PaisaBuddy is to make financial awareness effortless: no manual expense logging fatigue, no complicated dashboards — just a clear answer to the question every student asks mid-month: "Will I survive till payday?"
