GPUPilot is an autonomous AI GPU Performance Engineer designed to optimize, benchmark, and troubleshoot graphics and machine learning workloads across any accelerator. Whether training deep learning models or running intensive rendering, developers often battle silent bottlenecks—thermal throttling, VRAM exhaustion, CPU pipeline starvation, and unoptimized memory transfers. GPUPilot solves this with end-to-end telemetry and actionable intelligence. Key Innovations & Architecture: 1. Universal Hardware Engine: Native hardware support for NVIDIA (NVML), AMD (amdsmi), and Intel GPUs with graceful WebGL fallback for zero-install browser evaluation. 2. Bottleneck Detection Engine: A 6-rule priority diagnostic tree with confidence scoring to identify root causes in real time. 3. Automated Optimization Prescriptions: Generates verified PyTorch remediation code (AMP FP16, activation checkpointing, DataLoader pin_memory) with quantifiable impact ratings. 4. GPU Benchmarking Suite: Sustained Compute (GEMM) and Memory stress routines delivering a standardized 0-1000 composite score with thermal delta tracking. 5. Multi-Stream Telemetry: Real-time rolling charts toggling between core silicon vitals (GPU %, VRAM, Temp) and system-level power draw and CPU load. 6. Hybrid AI Explainer: Conversational assistance powered by Google Gemini 1.5 Flash with live telemetry grounding, backed by a 100% offline heuristic engine. 7. Autonomous Tuner: 1-click execution for Power Saver, Balanced, and Max Performance profiles with dry-run safety. GPUPilot eliminates manual debugging, transforming GPU optimization into an automated, transparent science.
