novaHB is a developer attention-routing system designed to reduce notification fatigue and unnecessary context switching in software teams. Traditional code ownership and review workflows can notify developers simply because they own a file, depend on a module, or are technically connected to a change. But being related to a code change does not always mean a developer actually needs to do something. novaHB analyzes a Git change together with semantic impact, project dependencies, source-code safety, developer ownership, expertise, and current tasks. It then routes each developer into one of three outcomes: ACTION, REVIEW_REQUIRED, or SILENT. In our demo scenario, a shared User.email field changes from required to nullable. novaHB identifies that Batuhan needs ACTION because the billing module uses the field without a null guard. Emre receives REVIEW_REQUIRED because he is responsible for schema migration and backward compatibility. Four other developers remain SILENT because their code is already safe or unrelated to the change. The result is 6 developers evaluated, but only 2 attention events generated. The product includes a Project Focus view, a complete network visualization, a 3D attention network, expert review controls, and a developer-specific AI Assistant for understanding impact and recommended next steps. novaHB is built around one principle: Route attention, not notifications.
