TradeProof: Verifiable Alpaca Options Agent
TradeProof World is a verifiable, paper-trading options intelligence agent engineered on Alpaca's high-performance market infrastructure. While conventional trading assistants output generic ticker recommendations, TradeProof solves a critical financial problem: natural-language ambiguity at the broker execution boundary. Key Innovations & Architecture: 1. Natural-Language Policy Compiler: Translates complex instructions into typed, SHA-256-hashed policies. It strictly enforces separate investment budgets vs. maximum loss caps, preferred/excluded tickers, contrast, and explicit permission to abstain ("If market is weak, do not trade"). 2. Whole-Market Optionable Universe: Dynamically queries active US assets carrying Alpaca's has_options attribute, screening over 6,100+ optionable underlyings in bounded API batches. 3. Options Alpha Passport: Evaluates candidate options using annualized 20-day Realized Volatility vs. Implied Volatility, 25-Delta skew, term slope, expected move, and net spread Greeks. Naked short positions are prohibited; only defined-risk Long Calls/Puts and Debit Verticals are generated. 4. Alpaca Execution & Integrity: Operates exclusively on dedicated Alpaca Competition/Paper accounts. Pre-allocates client_order_ids in SQLite and submits orders through the official Alpaca CLI with REST reconciliation. 5. Machine-Verifiable Audit Chain: Every decision produces an auditable Receipt linking the user prompt, evidence hashes, candidate rankings, Alpha Passport metrics, and Alpaca fill records in a tamper-proof SHA-256 audit chain. Built in Python 3.11 with 253 automated regression and concurrency tests, TradeProof proves user constraints were obeyed before any order touches the broker.
