Database changes can pass a quick syntax check and still break existing records, an older app version, or a rollback. ShipSafe helps developers catch those failures before release. ShipSafe is a local release rehearsal for a sample order application. A developer provides a candidate SQL migration, and ShipSafe seeds a temporary SQLite database with synthetic orders. It runs five gates: migration, preservation of existing data, compatibility with the old app, behavior of the new app, and rollback compatibility. If a gate fails, the result is BLOCK and dependent checks are marked SKIP; a passing run returns GO. Each run produces a JSON report with gate results and evidence. A browser-based viewer loads the reports and compares failed and repaired runs side by side. Our demo starts with an unsafe NOT NULL column addition that SQLite actually rejects, then shows the corrected nullable migration passing all five gates. ShipSafe is for developers and small teams reviewing database changes. It makes the failure, repair, and compatibility checks visible as one repeatable story. This is a synthetic SQLite prototype, not a production deployment guarantee.
