Every software engineer and evaluator is intimately familiar with the notorious "works on my machine" dilemma. Setting up a foreign GitHub repository often turns into an exhausting ordeal of trial and error: undocumented environment configurations, mismatched runtime versions, obscure dependency conflicts, and cryptic terminal stack traces. For developers evaluating open-source tools, hackathon judges reviewing submissions, or cross-functional team members testing feature branches, this manual friction wastes hours of engineering productivity and creates a steep barrier to collaboration.
