Knowledge workers get confident AI text they cannot audit. VeriBrief is a solo-built agent that plans a research brief, fetches real sources, drafts extractively (one citation per claim), optionally polishes with Vultr Serverless Inference, then independently verifies every claim against its source — dropping anything unverified — and delivers the brief with a full cost ledger (tokens and dollars per step). The demo shows the plan, the sources, the per-claim checklist, and the ledger updating step by step. A typical run costs under $0.001 with LLM polish, $0.00 without it. Deployed on a Vultr Cloud Compute instance in Tokyo; LLM via Vultr Serverless Inference (OpenAI-compatible API).
