A website, a video or a chat tells you to paste a command into your terminal. It looks like gibberish, and the only advice anyone gives you is "check it first". FirstRun checks it for you. Paste the command and one line about what you were told it does. FirstRun runs it on a throwaway fake laptop full of fake secrets, with a fake internet that records everything and forwards nothing. Then it shows you what you were told next to what the command actually did. Try it: open firstrun.makmurlab.com, pick the example "CLI version check", and press the button. You will have an answer in about ten seconds. Examples need no account and no code.
