Software developers often spend significant time manually identifying bugs, understanding their root causes, creating fixes, and testing those fixes. This process can involve repeated code inspection, context switching, manual debugging, and rework, making software development more time-consuming and error-prone. CodeFix AI is an AI-powered developer productivity platform designed to improve the debugging and testing workflow. It allows developers to analyze their source code, identify potential bugs and code-quality issues, understand why an issue occurs, generate a suggested fix, compare the original and corrected code, and verify the fix through testing. The target users are software developers, students, development teams, and programmers who regularly debug and maintain software projects. A user can provide code or a project, start an analysis, review detected issues, open an individual issue to understand its root cause, request an AI-generated fix, compare the before-and-after code, and run tests to verify the proposed solution. The key idea behind CodeFix AI is to connect multiple traditionally separate developer activities into one workflow: analysis, explanation, fixing, and verification. Instead of simply providing a chatbot that answers programming questions, CodeFix AI focuses on the complete debugging workflow and provides actionable results. The system uses generative AI to assist with code understanding, issue explanation, fix generation, and testing recommendations. A demonstration mode allows the complete workflow to be presented using a controlled sample project, making the solution easy to evaluate without requiring a developer to configure a project first. By bringing code analysis, AI-assisted fixing, code comparison, and verification into one workflow, CodeFix AI aims to reduce repetitive manual debugging work, improve developer productivity, and reduce unnecessary rework while keeping the developer involved in reviewing and applying changes.
