Developers executing changes lack visibility into affected microservices, breaking ORM models, or data integrity risks. DB-Scope prevents this by providing a complete impact picture before execution. 🎯 Core Features & Objectives 4-Dimension Impact Analyzer: Evaluates Schema Impact, App Dependencies (scans .ts, .py, etc.), Data Integrity Risks, and Documentation Drift. Real-Time IDE Tooling: SQL Hover Tooltips: Hover over any SQL query to see risk scores, affected tables, and cascade effects. Live Diagnostics & Fixes: Red squiggles and modal interrupts for risky operations (e.g., DELETE without WHERE), paired with safe auto-fixes. Context Manager: Auto-scans codebase schemas on startup and updates on save. Dashboards: Always-on Activity Bar sidebar and full webview panels for analytics. Duplicate Detector: Uses semantic groups and Levenshtein fuzzy-matching to find logical column duplicates (e.g., phone vs mobile). Merge Conflict Analyzer: Compares two database schemas. Calls into the Bob Shell for AI-powered resolution, confidence scoring, and unified migration SQL. 🤖 IBM Bob & watsonx.ai Integration Runs in Bob: Native extension utilizing Bob IDE's UI (sidebar, hover, diagnostics). Built with Bob: Developed using Bob's schema-analyst custom mode and parallel subagents. Calls Bob Shell: Shells out to bob run via stdin for AI-enriched DB merge conflicts. Powered by Granite: IBM watsonx.ai handles SQL parsing, risk scoring, and rollbacks.
