Pocketful is a clean-room clone of a secure peer-to-peer wallet and payments application (similar to Venmo) engineered entirely through an autonomous multi-agent software factory running in BAND Desktop. Built for the WeAreDevelopers x BAND Dark Factory hackathon, this project demonstrates true agent autonomy where a team of specialized AI agents—an Architect, an Implementation Engineer, and a QA Verifier—collaborate without human steering across progressive development stages. Core Engineering Highlights: Multi-Agent Orchestration: Deployed distinct, generic agent seats inside BAND Desktop using strict role mandates to plan work, write production code, and execute verification handoffs. Financial Integrity & Integer Arithmetic: Eliminated floating-point rounding errors by treating all monetary values as integers representing cents, ensuring absolute conservation of value. Concurrency & Race Condition Safety: Implemented database-level isolation and row-level locking (SELECT ... FOR UPDATE) to permanently prevent double-spending and race conditions under high-frequency peer transfers. Offline Container Compliance: Every build stage is fully containerized with zero outbound network dependencies, guaranteeing reproducible and secure deployments. The repository includes complete stage implementations (stage-1/ through stage-3/), compiled binaries, generic agent mandates, and comprehensive factory documentation (FACTORY.md) detailing cost metrics, design decisions, and automated recovery protocols.
