Suddenly, everyone had to stop building new features and spend weeks manually rewriting routing logic, data fetching, and components just to keep up with the ecosystem. It's an incredibly expensive technical debt. Our Solution: CodeShift AI We built CodeShift AI to automate this exact headache. It’s not just a chatbot that gives you code snippets to copy-paste. It's an automated orchestration dashboard powered by IBM Bob 2.0. You just point it to your legacy repository, and our Agentic Workflow takes over. It analyzes the entire codebase, figures out what needs to change, and refactors the code directly in your files. For our proof of concept, we took an old Next.js 12 e-commerce site and used CodeShift to migrate it to Next.js 15. It automatically converted pages/index.js into an async app/page.tsx Server Component and rewrote the API endpoints into modern Route Handlers. No manual copy-pasting. The dev server compiled perfectly on the first try. It’s a massive time-saver for any enterprise team looking to modernize their stack without stopping their sprints.
