Software teams already use issue trackers, pull requests, CI systems, tests, and documentation, but the evidence connecting those artifacts is often scattered. During review, developers and reviewers manually check whether a change satisfies the requirement, whether changed behavior is tested, whether public interfaces or schemas were affected, and whether documentation is stale. This creates review delays, missed gaps, and avoidable rework. ChangeProof is an evidence-first change-readiness workbench. It accepts a bounded change bundle containing requirements, a pull-request diff, source files, tests, and optional architecture documentation. It deterministically links requirements to changed code and tests, identifies missing or ambiguous evidence, detects public-interface and configuration changes, and produces a traceability matrix plus a review packet. Each finding points to source artifacts, explains the rule that triggered it, and recommends a human action. ChangeProof does not approve or block merges autonomously; it makes the evidence-gathering step faster, clearer, and more auditable. The prototype uses a synthetic TypeScript repository and runs locally without external LLM APIs, cloud credentials, or uploaded-code execution. Its design leaves room for future GitHub, CI, and additional-language adapters while keeping the first workflow reproducible and privacy-conscious.
