TicketSeed
Developers often get a product document from a client who is not technical. It describes the product in everyday language, mixes must-haves with nice-to-haves, and skips the details a developer needs: data, roles, integrations, and what should happen when something fails. Before any code is written, someone has to read the whole document, pull out the real requirements, decide what to build first, split the work into sprints, break each sprint into tickets, and list the questions the document never answers. This is slow, and it changes from person to person. The missing questions often show up too late, in the middle of a sprint, when a developer is stuck. TicketSeed is a web app that does this work in two steps. The user pastes a Markdown PRD or uploads a file. The app returns a short project summary, a list of requirements, an ordered sprint plan, and questions to send back to the client. Each requirement includes a quote from the original document, so the team can see where it came from. The user then picks one sprint and generates tickets for that sprint only. Each ticket has a title, description, acceptance criteria, size, priority, and the requirements it covers. Tickets that are too large, or that still need more information, are flagged for review. The user can edit the plan and the tickets in the browser, then download them as Markdown or JSON. It is built for small software teams, freelancers, and tech leads who start a project from a client brief. A product owner can turn a messy brief into work the team can estimate and assign. The client gets clear questions back, instead of hidden guesses inside tickets. To use it, paste or upload the PRD and check the preview. Generate the sprint plan and review the summary, requirements, sprints, and client questions. Edit names, goals, or which requirements sit in which sprint. A validation panel updates as you edit. Then generate tickets for one sprint, edit them, and export. What sets it apart is that the AI does not have the last word. After every AI call, plain code checks the result. Every requirement must point back to a quote that is really in the PRD, so invented work is flagged. Gaps stay visible as a question list, instead of becoming silent assumptions in tickets. The checks also confirm that every requirement is in a sprint, that ticket links are valid, and that dependencies do not form a loop. Generating one sprint at a time keeps each step small enough to review. The reading and splitting that used to take hours happens in one pass for the plan, then one sprint at a time for the tickets. The team still reviews and edits everything before anyone builds from it. The plan stays tied to the client's own words, developers get tickets they can start from, and the client gets the questions that would otherwise appear mid-sprint.
