### Overview TradeMind is an autonomous AI options trading platform designed to bridge the gap between natural language strategy ideation and risk-managed execution on the Alpaca Trading API. ### Problem Statement Retail options trading exposes investors to severe drawdown risks caused by emotional execution, manual order entry errors, and poor risk discipline. While AI models excel at market analysis, granting an LLM direct, unrestricted access to market execution is inherently dangerous. ### Solution & Architecture TradeMind solves this by introducing a human-in-the-loop, multi-agent workflow with deterministic safety guardrails: 1. Natural Language Interface: Users input plain-English prompts (e.g., "buy $500 of AAPL if it drops below 180 today"). 2. Structured Proposal Generation: The AI core evaluates real-time market data, calculates pricing, and stages an explicit trade proposal. 3. Deterministic Risk Gatekeeper: Hard-coded safety rules run after generation (enforcing max 10% buying power per order, order limits per 24 hours, and paper endpoint locks). 4.
