Team Idea
We’re building an AI-powered emergency voice assistant that helps bridge the gap between a patient and hospital during emergencies. Using AssemblyAI’s Voice Agent API, the user can interact through natural voice while the system retrieves relevant information from a synthetic patient database, gathers essential symptoms, and generates a structured emergency situation brief. The brief is sent to a mock hospital dashboard before the patient arrives, helping medical staff prepare in advance. The AI does not diagnose or replace medical professionals, it focuses on fast information gathering, context retrieval, and structured handoff.
What we need: motivated collaborators with experience or interest in AI/agentic workflows, backend and databases, frontend/full-stack development, AssemblyAI, and presentation/demo creation. Beginners who are willing to learn and actively contribute are also welcome. We value teamwork and want to build a functional, polished prototype within the hackathon.
