Building Sina — a real-time bilingual voice agent that understands patients the way they actually speak: mixing Arabic and English mid-sentence, not one language at a time. Sina uses AssemblyAI's native code-switching to transcribe naturally code-mixed speech, captures symptoms, medications, and allergies as the patient talks, flags urgency for the clinician, and escalates anything high-stakes to a human interpreter instead of guessing. Built for the millions of patients worldwide who fall through the cracks of language-access systems — especially in bilingual regions like the Gulf, where dialect Arabic and English blend constantly in real conversation. Solo build for the AssemblyAI Voice Agent Hackathon. Not looking for teammates.

Sina is a bilingual Arabic/English voice agent for clinical intake. It transcribes code-switched speech, structures symptoms/medications/allergies via LLM, and forces escalation on red-flag symptoms through a deterministic rule the model can't override.
