Team Idea
Many learners struggle with coding and math because traditional resources are text-heavy, passive, and hard to use while multitasking or on the go. Syntax solves this with a voice-first AI tutor built on the AssemblyAI Voice Agent API. Users speak naturally and receive spoken explanations in real time. The agent adapts to four learning levels (Entry to Advanced) and focused paths (Python, Web Development, Algorithms, Math, or General). It uses JSON-Schema tool calling for live math evaluation, Wikipedia lookups, code examples, and multimodal reading of uploaded images or PDFs so the tutor can discuss screenshots, diagrams, or documents aloud. Sessions support live transcripts, one-click export to WhatsApp, email, or GitHub Gist, and optional accounts with Redis-backed rate limiting and session security. Guest mode lets judges start instantly. The result is accessible, adaptive spoken tutoring that turns voice conversation into practical coding and math practice.
