"Dental Project team on AssemblyAI - Voice Agent Hackathon Hackathon"

Team Idea

Dental Project is a voice agent for dentists, built on AssemblyAI real-time speech-to-text. During a gum exam, the dentist's hands are busy with the probe and the mirror, so hundreds of measurements end up on paper and are typed into the computer later. With Dental Project, the dentist just talks ("Tooth 16, probing depth 3, 2, 4") and the periodontal chart fills itself live, while the app confirms out loud what it saved. It understands natural phrasing, remembers the conversation for each patient, and updates every screen in real time. Stack: AssemblyAI Universal-3 Pro streaming, Groq LLM (gpt-oss-120b), MongoDB, Angular, Node.js and FastAPI.
