Team Idea

HazVox AI is a hands-free, voice-activated safety compliance and dispatch agent engineered for high-risk industrial environments (construction, manufacturing, fleet ops). Powered by AssemblyAI's Voice Agent API and Universal-3 Pro speech recognition, HazVox enables workers on loud job sites to report hazards using natural voice commands without touching a screen. We use native JSON-Schema tool calling (`report_safety_hazard`) to instantly extract structured parameters (hazard_level, equipment_id, location) and stream real-time compliance records directly to a Supabase backend and a Next.js command center dashboard. We have built a fully functional MVP for the AssemblyAI Voice Agent Hackathon showcasing real-time WebRTC audio streams, noise rejection, and live WebSocket dashboard updates.
