We are **Lingxi**, a team exploring what happens when AI stops merely processing speech and starts genuinely understanding conversation. For the AssemblyAI Voice Agent Hackathon, we're building a real-time voice agent around natural dialogue, contextual understanding, low-latency interaction, intelligent decision-making, and tool-driven workflows. Our goal is to make interacting with an AI feel less like issuing commands and more like speaking with something that understands what you're trying to accomplish. We're looking for builders interested in **Voice AI, LLMs/agents, backend systems, product design, and frontend experiences**. If you enjoy experimenting, shipping quickly, and turning ambitious ideas into working systems, you're welcome to join. **Lingxi (灵犀)** comes from an ancient Chinese metaphor for an almost intuitive connection between minds — exactly the kind of interaction we want to create between humans and AI.
