Refill Line is a pharmacy refill voice-agent prototype built with the AssemblyAI Voice Agent API. A vague request such as "my blood pressure pill" can match two prescriptions on the same profile. The agent asks which medicine the caller means instead of choosing the most likely match. AssemblyAI handles speech, turn detection, spoken responses and tool calls. Jev, a typed judgment model accessed through OpenRouter, scores medication matches, whether a drug was named, requested dose changes and medical questions. Python code owns the decision. Scores from 0.4 to 0.6 trigger clarification; multiple matching medicines also trigger a question. Identity, refill counts and refill timing are checked in code. The gate declines dose changes, routes medical questions to a pharmacist, and fails closed if judgment is unavailable. It does not authorize a refill from a medicine description alone. The public comparison page holds the gate, questions and thresholds fixed and changes only the judge. In one recorded 24-request evaluation on September 24, 2026, Jev matched 22 expected decisions with zero unsafe fills and 1.18-second median judgment latency. This small prototype evaluation is not clinical validation; all individual results are available. Try the browser demo or click "Play a scripted call" without a microphone. All patients and prescriptions are fictional. No medicine is dispensed and no real pharmacy is connected. The source is publicly available for inspection.
