"Developed an end-to-end Smart Energy Management System aimed at predicting and optimizing household energy consumption. Built a core machine learning engine using LightGBM, featuring advanced temporal and weather-based feature engineering, and validated its precision using RMSE, MAE, and R² metrics. To ensure transparency, integrated SHAP-based Explainable AI (XAI) alongside a rule-based recommendation engine to deliver personalized, data-driven energy-saving tips to users. Additionally, mapped predictive insights onto actual multi-slab utility tariff structures to provide accurate bill estimations while designing an anomaly detection module to monitor and flag unusual consumption risks."
