Study Hours is an AI mentor for people teaching themselves something hard. You tell it your goal and how many hours a week you have; it drafts a full study plan, then sits with you while you work through it. Drop in a lecture or a talk and AssemblyAI transcribes it with speaker labels and timestamps, so the mentor can summarise it, pull out chapter markers, build flashcards and quiz you on what you just watched. Everything happens out loud where that helps: dictate notes while the video plays and they land in a timestamped margin, answer quizzes by speaking, and run spoken mock interviews where your answers are transcribed, scored against the source material and returned with feedback on clarity, filler words and concepts you missed. Progress rolls up across lectures, weeks and courses, and when you fall behind the mentor rebuilds the schedule instead of letting the plan rot. Runs locally on SQLite, so your notes, recordings and progress stay on your own machine.
