Team Idea
Surgr is a real-time closed-loop safety copilot for the operating room, built on AssemblyAI. It listens to the room, checks every verbal drug order against its read-back (drug, dose, unit and route), tracks the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist as the team speaks it, and speaks up through the Voice Agent the moment a loop does not close: a wrong dose, a wrong drug, a missing read-back, or an incision called without a Time Out. The room can ask it questions by name, and every case ends with an audit-ready record delivered as PDF, Telegram or a spoken debrief.
Stack: AssemblyAI Streaming v3 with medical mode and speaker labels, LLM Gateway, Voice Agent API with tool calling, Next.js on Vercel.
The build is working and verified live. Open to a teammate with clinical experience (anesthesia, perioperative nursing, patient safety) to review scenarios and help with the pitch, and to anyone who wants to record or edit the demo video.
