"Vibeus team on AssemblyAI - Voice Agent Hackathon Hackathon"

Team Idea

Vibeus is an independent AI engineering team exploring a future where intelligent systems are portable, personal, and user-owned. We build local-first agent infrastructure focused on persistent identity, long-term memory, voice interaction, tool use, and model independence. Our current project, Frenpal, is a portable AI companion whose identity and memory exist independently of any individual language model or platform. This allows users to change models, interfaces, and providers without losing the relationship, context, or knowledge their assistant has developed over time.
