Arxion: Coordination for AI Coding Agents

Modern AI coding agents are highly capable of understanding repositories, generating code, fixing bugs, and completing development tasks. However, most still work with limited awareness of what other developers and AI agents are doing across the same project. As teams increasingly use multiple coding agents at once, this creates a new collaboration problem. Agents may edit overlapping files, depend on APIs or schemas being changed elsewhere, duplicate work, rely on outdated decisions, or discover integration conflicts only after code has already been written. Arxion solves this problem by providing a shared coordination layer between human developers, AI coding agents, Git, and the rest of the software development workflow. It does not replace the developer, coding agent, IDE, or version control system. Instead, Arxion acts as the project’s shared coordination brain, helping everyone understand what is being worked on, what is changing, and what other tasks may be affected. Developers work inside a collaborative project workspace containing tasks, owners, dependencies, acceptance criteria, active agents, decisions, risks, contracts, and development activity. When a task is assigned to an AI coding agent, Arxion automatically provides the relevant context, including requirements, dependencies, technical decisions, and related project information. This reduces the need to repeatedly copy project context into separate AI conversations. While an agent is working, Arxion tracks its session, declared work intent, progress, dependencies, file reservations, and shared software contracts such as APIs, schemas, models, and types. This gives teams live awareness of active development and allows Arxion to detect possible conflicts before they become costly integration problems. Two agents may be editing different files, for example, but still depend on the same shared API contract. Arxion also compares an agent’s declared scope with its actual Git changes. If an agent unexpectedly modifies another file, model, schema, API, or shared contract, Arxion can identify which tasks or developers may be affected. Relevant context updates can then be distributed automatically to dependent agents and team members. Completed work can move through structured review, Git revision verification, merge readiness checks, and handoffs. Downstream developers and agents receive the final decisions, contracts, revisions, risks, and context needed to continue safely. If an agent session is interrupted, Arxion can preserve enough structured context for the work to be resumed without rebuilding its understanding from scratch. By connecting task intent, agent activity, software contracts, and repository changes in one place, Arxion turns isolated AI sessions into coordinated team execution. The result is fewer duplicated efforts, earlier conflict detection, clearer accountability, safer parallel development, and faster handoffs between people and agents. This becomes increasingly important as AI-assisted development shifts from one developer using one agent to teams operating agents simultaneously. Arxion is designed for software teams adopting multiple AI coding tools across the development lifecycle. Its key distinction is simple: it does not try to become a better individual coding agent. It focuses on the coordination problem between developers and agents. Any coding agent can understand your code. Arxion gives every coding agent a shared understanding of your team.
