Code-CSI is an AI-Powered Crime Scene Investigation assistant designed to revolutionize forensic investigations. PROBLEM: Traditional crime scene investigation is extremely time-consuming. Detectives manually analyze hundreds of evidence photos, write lengthy forensic reports, and struggle to connect clues. This delays justice by days or weeks, evidence can be missed, and human error is common. Police departments lack AI tools to automate this. OUR SOLUTION: Code-CSI uses IBM Bob as an AI development partner to create an intelligent system that automates the entire investigation workflow. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Investigator uploads crime scene photos, CCTV footage, and evidence images to the platform 2. IBM Bob analyzes the codebase and helps implement computer vision to detect blood patterns, weapons, fingerprints, footprints, and suspicious objects 3. The AI generates a professional, court-ready forensic report with timeline, evidence list, and observations in seconds 4. Interactive chat allows detectives to ask questions like What weapon was used? or Reconstruct the crime timeline? 5. Generates suspect profiling and investigative leads TARGET USERS: Police departments, forensic science labs, private investigation agencies, law students, and crime journalists. UNIQUE VALUE: Unlike manual methods that take 6-8 hours per case, Code-CSI does it in 2 minutes. It uses IBM Bob to understand complex forensic code, debug image processing, and generate accurate reports. It is multimodal, scalable, and accessible via simple web interface. This project demonstrates real-world impact of IBM Bob in solving societal problems and delivering justice faster. GitHub: https://github.com/hashini15-12-2007/code-csi
