Nexus Agent is an autonomous AI-powered options trading system designed to make structured, data-driven trading decisions rather than relying on a single AI model or market signal. At its core, Nexus uses a multi-agent architecture. A Bull Agent identifies upside opportunities, a Bear Agent challenges the thesis by identifying downside risks, and a Portfolio Manager evaluates both perspectives before making the final decision. This creates an internal debate before capital is committed. Nexus combines technical indicators, market volatility, news sentiment, options-chain data, liquidity, momentum signals, historical backtesting, and Monte Carlo Value at Risk (VaR) to evaluate potential trades. Based on market conditions, it can dynamically select strategies including Bull Call Spreads, Bear Put Spreads, Long Strangles, and Iron Condors. If the risk-reward profile is insufficient, the system can choose not to trade. Risk management is integrated into the execution pipeline through position limits, liquidity checks, daily-loss protection, account binding, execution controls, and paper-trading safeguards. Every decision is logged, creating an auditable record of the signals, reasoning, risk evaluation, and final action. To test whether its performance was reproducible beyond a single run, I conducted separate tests using different accounts and trading days. In one run, Nexus generated nearly $8,000 in profit on the first day. A separate test on another account and trading day generated approximately $2,200. These results are not presented as guaranteed returns, but as evidence from repeated testing across different conditions. Nexus Agent combines multi-agent reasoning, quantitative analysis, options strategy selection, risk management, and autonomous execution into one end-to-end workflow — aiming to make AI-driven trading more systematic, explainable, and disciplined.
