ArrowLens is an accessibility-focused developer tool designed to reduce the cognitive effort required to understand errors, documentation, implementation ideas, and unfamiliar codebases. Developers often have to switch between error messages, source code, documentation, notes, and repositories to figure out what went wrong and what to do next. For developers who benefit from clearer information hierarchy, reduced distractions, or focused interfaces, dense technical information can make this process even harder. ArrowLens addresses this through four focused workflows called Lenses. Error Lens combines an error, relevant code, and context to produce a structured explanation containing the problem, likely cause, suggested fix, and verification steps. Docs Lens accepts documentation content or a URL and organizes it into a summary, key concepts, example, and common mistake. Plan Lens turns rough ideas or notes into structured implementation plans with goals, steps, dependencies, and verification. Codebase Lens allows developers to import a ZIP project or public GitHub repository, explore files and relationships, ask questions about the codebase, inspect individual files, explain selected code, and copy useful context for other AI coding tools. Rather than presenting everything as a generic chatbot conversation, ArrowLens organizes AI assistance around the developer's current task and presents information in predictable, structured sections. Its accessibility features—including Focus Mode, Spotlight Mode, High Contrast, Reduced Motion, keyboard-friendly interactions, readable code presentation, and clear visual hierarchy—are integrated into the workflow rather than treated as an afterthought. The target users are developers, students, and people working with unfamiliar technical projects who want a clearer path from confusion to an actionable next step. ArrowLens combines AI-assisted understanding with an interface designed around focus, structure, and accessibility.
