Customer-support trainees need a safe place to practise answering company-specific questions before speaking with real customers. Reading an FAQ alone does not let them rehearse a spoken conversation or review how they explained the policy. SupportCoach AI is a browser-based voice practice app. A trainee pastes company FAQ or policy text, or imports an accessible public HTTPS source, reviews the extracted material, and confirms it. They choose one or more practice topics and speak with an AI simulated customer. The trainee answers by voice while the app displays the conversation transcript. AssemblyAI powers the live voice interaction and trainee transcription. The simulated customer's question plan uses the selected source facts. After the call, SupportCoach produces feedback on factual accuracy, empathy, clarity, and resolution, alongside missed facts, conflicting claims, the transcript, and a suggested next exercise. Factual scoring uses the confirmed FAQ; personal experience notes provide coaching guidance rather than establishing company policy. The MVP uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS and is deployed on Vercel. Permanent API credentials remain on the server, which supplies temporary voice-session tokens to the browser. The intended users are customer-support trainees, team leads, and trainers. The product is designed to make repeated, company-specific roleplay easier to access. Its distinctive focus is training the human responder: the AI plays the customer rather than answering real customers on behalf of a company.
