I am Asmita Debnath, a second-year B.Tech student pursuing Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence at the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. I completed my first year with an overall SGPA of 9.12. I am passionate about technology, artificial intelligence, web development, and solving real-world problems through innovative ideas. I have skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Python, and Java. I enjoy learning new technologies and turning my ideas into practical projects. I have worked on projects such as a women safety watch software and an Arduino-based fire-fighting robot. I am also a member of GGSC in web development and have participated in hackathons and innovation programs, including Karo Hackathon and Genesis Snap, where I was a college-level finalist. I believe in continuously learning, experimenting, and improving my skills. My goal is to become a skilled technology professional and build innovative AI and software solutions that can solve real-world problems and create a positive impact.

The Problem: The Legacy Monolith Bottleneck Enterprises today are paralyzed by technical debt. Massive, undocumented legacy monoliths are expensive to maintain but terrifying to upgrade. Manual refactoring requires developers to trace thousands of lines of tangled "spaghetti code," a process that takes months, costs a fortune, and carries a high risk of breaking core business logic. Furthermore, traditional AI chatbots fail at this task; they suffer from context window overload and hallucinate when fed entire enterprise codebases sequentially. The Solution The Autonomous Legacy-to-Cloud Modernizer is an advanced orchestration engine powered by IBM Bob 2.0. It automates the end-to-end modernization lifecycle, systematically dismantling outdated monoliths and transforming them into clean, secure, cloud-native microservices complete with generated unit tests and Docker containers. Target Users & Interaction Our solution is built for Enterprise Software Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Senior Developers tasked with digital transformation. The interaction is completely frictionless. A user simply drags and drops a .zip archive of their legacy codebase into our cyber-industrial web dashboard. Behind the scenes, the backend triggers Bob 2.0’s "Plan Mode" to safely map dependencies and generate a microservice blueprint. The user then watches a real-time, WebSocket-powered terminal dashboard as the system unleashes multiple AI subagents. Once the process is complete, the user receives a downloadable package of modernized, ready-to-deploy microservices alongside a compliance and token-cost report. What Makes It Creative and Unique Unlike typical hackathon projects that just wrap a basic prompt-and-response AI chat, our solution acts as a distributed AI workforce. Parallel Orchestration: Instead of rewriting code sequentially, we leverage Bob 2.0 to spawn isolated subagents that run in parallel. Agent A refactors the database layer, Agent B rewrites authentication, and Agent C containerizes the app—all simultaneously. Context Hygiene: By isolating each subagent strictly to its specific module, we prevent the context-window pollution and hallucinations that plague standard AI coding tools. Local MCP Integration: We implemented custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools that allow Bob 2.0 to trigger deterministic local security scans (like SonarQube), ensuring the newly written code is compliant without sending sensitive security operations to the cloud. Effectiveness and Efficiency This platform effectively solves the modernization crisis by blending deterministic software engineering with generative AI. Because the subagents operate concurrently, wall-clock execution time drops drastically—compressing a multi-month, error-prone manual migration into minutes of automated compute. Furthermore, by strictly bounding the AI’s context and forcing it to generate Consumer-Driven Contract tests before completing a task, the platform guarantees that the new microservices function exactly like the old monolith, completely eliminating rework.
