Managing finances is notoriously tedious when it demands clunky apps, manual spreadsheet entry, or complex accounting dashboards. For millions of freelancers, gig workers, and small business owners, transactions happen rapidly on the move where typing out details is often forgotten or postponed. Monevo eliminates this friction by bringing an intelligent, voice-first financial copilot directly inside WhatsApp—where billions of people already communicate every day. No app downloads, no logins, and zero learning curve. Users simply press the mic button and speak naturally: "Spent 12,000 on fuel" or "Received 150k from David for design," and Monevo handles the rest. How AssemblyAI Powers Monevo: At the heart of Monevo is AssemblyAI's Universal Speech-to-Text models (universal-3-5-pro & universal-2). To handle real-world voice notes in fast-paced environments—marked by background noise, rapid cadence, regional accents, and localized financial jargon (e.g., Naira, kobo, POS, light bill)—Monevo leverages AssemblyAI’s contextual prompting, domain-specific word_boost dictionary, and automatic language detection. This ensures exceptional transcription precision before passing clean intent to our financial execution engine. Key Features: • Voice-to-Ledger Automation: Transcribes voice notes, extracts financial intent (amounts, counterparties, categories), and logs entries to MongoDB in real time. • Interactive Voice Clarifications: If a voice note lacks required context (e.g. missing amount or vendor), Monevo initiates a voice/text clarification loop. • Instant Digital Receipts: Generates professional, branded SVG/PNG receipts on the fly and sends them directly back into the chat. • Visual Analytics & Balance Reports: Speak queries like "Where did I spend the most this week?" to receive visual spending charts and balance summaries. • Voice-Back Audio Synthesis: Delivers audio replies for an authentic hands-free experience.
