CampusFlow is a voice-first campus operations desk that turns natural conversations into real campus actions. Built with the AssemblyAI Voice Agent API, it lets students speak naturally instead of navigating multiple portals or forms. The agent understands requests, asks concise follow-up questions, and uses structured tools to perform real operations. CampusFlow can create maintenance tickets, retrieve ticket status, escalate urgent issues, check facility availability, and book campus facilities. A runtime Asia/Kolkata clock tool makes date-sensitive requests such as “tomorrow evening” reliable instead of relying on an LLM’s internal sense of time. Backend validation prevents placeholder requesters, fabricated bookings, invalid states, and double-booked slots. Every successful action is persisted in SQLite and reflected in a read-only operations dashboard with tickets, bookings, escalations, slot availability, and an audit trail. The system includes automated regression testing and is deployed behind a public HTTPS Render backend. The result is a practical voice interface for campus operations: students speak naturally, the agent understands the intent, performs the real action through a verified tool, and speaks the confirmed result back to them.
