Factory Zero is an autonomous multi-agent software factory designed to make software earn its release through evidence. Instead of relying on a single AI coding agent, Factory Zero coordinates specialized agents through BAND to plan, implement, attack, test, review, and repair a financial application. The factory treats correctness as a continuous engineering process. A Builder creates the system, while independent adversarial agents actively search for failures such as duplicate transactions, race conditions, inconsistent balances, retry-related errors, and broken financial invariants. A Critic evaluates the evidence and can block the release when requirements are not proven. When a failure is discovered, the relevant agent receives the evidence, repairs the implementation, and the factory reruns the attack. The system only reaches the release stage when the required tests and invariants pass, followed by human approval. Factory Zero demonstrates how coordinated AI agents can move beyond code generation toward autonomous software engineering with verification, adversarial testing, and evidence-driven release gates.
