Tollgate — Charge AI bots per request in USDC
AI labs are extracting billions of dollars of content from publishers with no workable payment recourse. The New York Times has been suing OpenAI since December 2023. Thomson Reuters won the first major fair-use ruling against Ross Intelligence in February 2025. Reddit is suing Anthropic. Getty is suing Stability AI. Cumulative damages claimed across AI training lawsuits exceed $100 billion. The other option is licensing — News Corp got $250 million over five years from OpenAI, Reddit got $60 million a year from Google. Those deals exist for the top 0.01% of publishers. Everyone else just bleeds. The payment rail to fix this already exists. HTTP 402 has been reserved in the spec since 1999. Coinbase and the Linux Foundation shipped the x402 standard in 2024. Circle shipped Arc with USDC-native gas, finally making sub-cent settlement profitable. What's missing is the publisher-facing product. Tollgate is that product. A drop-in middleware library for Express, Hono, and Next.js. A publisher dashboard at tollgate.brianmwai.com that provisions a Circle Wallet, configures pricing rules, watches realtime onchain settlements, rotates API keys, and off-ramps USDC via Circle CCTP. Every quote is priced by Google Gemini 3 Flash through Function Calling over three callable tools — agent reputation, site pricing rules, recent activity — with the reasoning persisted per request. A 5-minute HMAC receipt cache collapses 50 repeat reads into 1 onchain transaction. Proof: 240+ real onchain USDC settlements on Base Sepolia, all verifiable on basescan. A live demo publisher at demo-news.brianmwai.com with ten editorial articles behind real 402 responses. A bot CLI that signs payments and produces real settlements on demand. MIT licensed. Production ready. No waitlist.

Oryn - AI Debt Collection on Arc
The Problem Freelancers and small businesses lose billions annually to unpaid invoices. Chasing payments is awkward, time-consuming, and often unsuccessful. The Solution Oryn is an autonomous AI agent that handles the entire debt collection process without manual intervention. How It Works 1. Upload an invoice or contract. Oryn's AI extracts client details, amounts, and due dates automatically. 2. Activate the claim. The agent sends friendly reminders via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. 3. Smart escalation. If clients don't respond, Oryn automatically adjusts tone from friendly to firm to final notice. 4. Payment on Arc. Each claim generates a USDC payment link on Circle's Arc blockchain. Sub-second finality, fees paid in USDC, no gas token complexity. 5. Real-time dashboard. Track total collected, active claims, and payment history in one place. Why Arc? Circle's new L1 blockchain enables instant, low-cost USDC transfers, making micropayments viable and cross-border collections seamless. No waiting days for bank transfers. True Agentic Commerce The AI maintains context across days and weeks, remembering every interaction and adjusting its approach based on client responses. It works autonomously toward a goal. Paystream AI -Instant Global Payroll on Blockchain
Paystream AI is an intelligent blockchain payroll platform built by Brian Mwai & Joy Lang'at in Kenya. We solve cross-border payment delays & high transaction fees. The Problem: International wire transfers take 7-14 days & cost $30-50 per transaction. Traditional payroll platforms still rely on slow, expensive banking rails. Our Solution: Our platform combines Google Gemini 2.0, Arc Network, Circle USDC, Qdrant vector search, Groq inference, ElevenLabs voice AI, & Opus workflows to deliver instant global payments through our AI assistant, Penny. Penny understands natural language, searches employees semantically, & executes instant USDC transfers on-chain. Instead of waiting weeks for international wires & paying $30+ fees, companies can now pay their global teams daily with zero delays. We've integrated 7 AI/ML APIs to create a payroll experience that transforms monthly administrative burdens into seamless daily operations. From Nairobi to Dubai, talent knows no borders—neither should payment. Team: Brian Mwai: Research Lead & Software Engineer, Co-Founder at Hausor Labs Joy Lang'at: Tech Lead AI/ML Engineer, Co-Founder at Hausor Labs Paystream AI: Moving humanity forward, one instant payment at a time.
