DecideEats is a voice-first restaurant decision assistant built for people who waste too much time deciding where to eat. Instead of opening many tabs, comparing maps, reviews, budgets, and group preferences manually, users can simply speak naturally to the app. For example, they can say what food they want, where they are, how many people are eating, their budget, and any dietary needs. The app uses AssemblyAI Voice Agent to create a conversational experience where users can talk, update their request, and receive one clear restaurant decision. DecideEats then connects the voice conversation to a restaurant recommendation flow, using the user’s location or manually entered area to find relevant nearby options. It also shows estimated price ranges, distance, category, address, and a Google Maps directions button so the user can immediately move from decision to action. The goal of DecideEats is simple: reduce decision fatigue and make restaurant choosing faster, more natural, and more useful for real life.
