DockWitness turns a chaotic freight receiving conversation into a defensible evidence record before the truck leaves. A receiver simply speaks what they see: carton count, shortages, and visible damage. AssemblyAI Realtime transcribes the inspection while the AssemblyAI Voice Agent guides the workflow, asks for missing evidence, and captures the driver’s position. DockWitness deliberately separates AI from operational truth. AI understands speech; deterministic code calculates quantity discrepancies, evaluates two-party agreement, enforces photo requirements, and determines readiness for operations review. In the Golden Demo, 48 cartons are expected. The receiver reports 47 cartons plus a crushed and wet carton. DockWitness computes a shortage of one and requires photographic evidence. The driver confirms the damage but disputes the shortage. The system preserves both positions: DAMAGE = CONFIRMED_BY_BOTH, SHORTAGE = DISPUTED, while liability remains NOT_DETERMINED. Every fact is linked to its source and preserved in an append-only audit trail. The result: faster, clearer freight receiving evidence captured while the receiver, driver, freight, and truck are still together. Proof before the truck leaves.
