Wavelink Mobile is a customer care portal built for a fictional telecom carrier, designed around a simple idea: what if calling support didn't mean waiting on hold or repeating your problem to three different people? Support tickets are triaged and resolved live by Maya, an AI voice agent powered by the AssemblyAI Voice Agent API, which handles real-time speech-to-text, text-to-speech, turn detection, and tool calling in a single streaming pipeline. The flow mirrors a real support experience end to end: customers register for an account, file a ticket describing their issue (network outage, billing question, account change, etc.), and can immediately launch a live voice call bound to that specific ticket — no phone tree, no hold music. Maya greets the caller already knowing what ticket they're calling about, restates the reported problem to confirm she has the right context, and works the issue in natural conversation. Under the hood, Maya isn't just a chatbot with a voice — she can take real action during the call. She calls backend tools mid-conversation to check live network status for the caller's area, trigger a remote connection reset, and confirm account details before making changes, all while the conversation continues to flow naturally with barge-in support (the caller can interrupt her at any time). When the issue is resolved or the caller is ready to hang up, Maya doesn't just cut the line — she explicitly tells the caller she's ending the call, summarizes what was done, says goodbye, and only then closes the session. The system also remembers. Every transcript line from every call is persisted against its ticket, so if a customer calls back later about the same unresolved issue, Maya doesn't start from scratch — she picks up the conversation with full memory of what was already discussed, tried, or promised in prior calls, the same way a good human support rep would.
