Tokenized stocks are opening access to US equities through crypto-native rails, creating a new class of globally distributed, often mobile-first investors. The opportunity is not simply to replicate a traditional brokerage, but to rethink how these markets are accessed. Today, trading tokenized assets can mean navigating wallets, networks, token addresses, DEX interfaces, quotes, and unfamiliar transaction flows. For a mobile-first user, there is a lot of infrastructure between intent and action. Claflin is a voice-native trading desk built around a simpler interaction: say what you want to trade. “Buy 100 USDC of NVDA” becomes a structured, reviewable order rather than a sequence of screens. AssemblyAI powers the core experience in two ways. The Dictation API converts spoken trading instructions into clean, auditable transcripts and structured orders. The Voice Agent API powers a live broker that can identify instruments, set amounts, request venue estimates, review quotes, and record paper trades conversationally. Behind the voice interface, Claflin connects tokenized-stock markets across Base and Solana. Products, chains, venues, and quotes remain explicit rather than being silently substituted. Compliance and user control are treated as first-class constraints: eligibility and authorization remain explicit, voice never signs or submits a transaction, and paper trading is the default. Live settlement requires deliberate user action and rail-specific authorization. Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Three.js, Privy, viem/ethers, Solana Web3.js, Jupiter, and Coinbase market data, Claflin explores what a brokerage looks like when markets become global, onchain, mobile-first — and your voice becomes the interface.
