Oppuna Voice

Oppuna Voice is a voice-first reflection experience built on Oppuna, an existing privacy-first wellness and journaling app. Traditional journaling starts with an empty text box. After a difficult day, organizing thoughts into writing can itself become a barrier. Oppuna Voice changes the starting point: instead of asking users to write first, it lets them simply talk. Powered by AssemblyAI's realtime Voice Agent capabilities, users can have natural spoken conversations with live transcription, conversational turn-taking, spoken responses, and interruption/barge-in. Users can interrupt Oppuna, correct themselves, and continue naturally without restarting the conversation. Oppuna then turns the conversation into a structured, CBT-inspired reflection rather than simply storing a transcript. A key innovation is user-controlled memory. Oppuna presents memory candidates and lets users decide what should be remembered or excluded. Raw conversations are not silently converted into long-term memory. This enables meaningful continuity across sessions. For example, a user can approve remembering that they struggle to switch off after work while excluding a sensitive argument. When they later return and talk about work stress, Oppuna can retrieve only the approved context and continue from there. AssemblyAI provides the realtime conversational layer, while Oppuna manages reflection logic, consent, persistence, and recall. Talk → Understand → Reflect → Approve Memory → Return with Context Oppuna Voice demonstrates how realtime voice AI can reduce the friction of reflection while giving users explicit control over sensitive memory. Oppuna is a wellness and reflection companion. It does not diagnose, provide medical treatment, or replace clinicians or emergency services. Talk. Reflect. Remember — on your terms.
